Recent Sightings - 2nd March

The following sightings were recorded by Pete Matchett, Reserve Warden

Highlights over the last week include the Spoonbill returning to the reserve after an absence of around 2 weeks and appeared on the Wader Marsh and the Peninsula Saltmarsh to feed on Monday afternoon. Also on site was the return of Ringed Plover, who have bred successfully on site over the last few years on the Peninsula Saltmarsh, 7 of them were foraging on their breeding site also on Monday afternoon.
