Art is for the birds this June at WWT Arundel
Visitors can see meet wildlife artist Desiree Hart, watch wood carving with the Bentley Wildlife Carvers or create their own art at workshops this June at Arundel Wetland Centre.
Meet wildlife artist Desiree Hart on June 28 and see her original sketches and etchings alongside her photographs taken during her trips to Africa. Desiree Hart and Dave Fairlamb of WWT Arundel Wetland Centre are guiding an 11 day safari on July 9-19 starting at the Moremi Game Reserve on the Okavango Delta. Spaces on the safari are still available and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust. Contact dave.fairlamb@wwt.org.uk for more information about the safari.
The Bentley Wildlife Carvers specialise in carving life sized and scale models of birds. These talented craftsmen will demonstrate their carving techniques while displaying their work from 10am-4pm on Sunday 14 June.
Brighton watercolour artist Emily Jolley and sculptor Anna Twinam-Cauchi are leading art workshops on Sunday 14 June were visitors can learn to create a wire & paper sculpture or try watercolour painting outdoors on the reserve. Workshops cost £12-£15 per person. Call 01903 881530 to book.

The centre is fully accessible, has comfortable hides, buggy and wheelchair friendly pathways, a fully stocked cafe and gift shop and disabled and parent & baby facilities.
