Bird News
Up to 2 kingfishers were showing well from the Ron Barker hide, where 20+ Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Little Ringed Plovers were amonngst the waders present. Also from the Ron Barker hide, a pair of Ravens were feeding a single juvenile, and Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, and several Common Buzzards were seen.
The only Green Sandpiper reported today was in front of the Hale hide.
Also of interest, 4 Pochard and 30+ Shoveller on the Mere, where a Little Egret was briefly present before moving over to the favoured Egret spot in front of the Harrier hide.
