Buzzards

An excellent day for raptors, hard to tell how many were seen today but with 21 counted in the air at one point, there were probably easily over 30 seen today. Also at least 5 Marsh Harriers again showing well, Sparrowhawk again on one of the islands on the Mere for 10 mins.

The subadult Little Gull was reported again from Harrier Hide but was flushed by a Marsh Harrier.

A male Stonechat was out on the fenceposts from UU Hide this afternoon.

Still up to 70+ Ruff and good numbers of Snipe.

Two Grey Wagtail in front of the Discovery Hide on and off most of the morning.

At least 3 Little Grebe showing from Harrier Hide.
