Take a Trip to Slimbridge Wetland Centre

We are organising a coach trip to WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre on Sunday 23 February where you can see thousands of wintering wild birds and hundreds of Bewick’s swans.

As the trip is on the final Sunday of half term you can enjoy a range of Bewick’s Swan themed family activities celebrating the special and much-loved visitor to WWT Slimbridge.

Slimbridge is also home to a family of otters (talks at 11.30am and 3pm), amphibians living at 'Toad Hall' (talks at 12.30pm and 2.15pm) and colourful flamingos who you can view in the sunken observatory ‘Flamingo Lagoon’.

The coach departs from Martin Mere Wetland Centre at 8am and will leave Slimbridge at 4pm. It is £25 per person (excludes centre admission or free to WWT members) and you must book in advance by calling 01704 895181 (Monday to Friday). Don't forget your membership card if you are a WWT member so that you can get into Slimbridge free of charge.
