Good Weather for Ducks!

Well the weather really has thrown everything at us this week, though it is good that the forecast hail did not materialise in the end! We have closed the River Walk section of our Summer walk due to flooding and high tides. Please also bear in mind that there are puddles now down the Saltcot Laoning and Avenue so be sure to bring appropriate footwear. Fortunately the sun is making an appearance today to hopefully dry things up a bit. On the bird front, our Teal and Mallard numbers are building up. Good numbers of Lapwing on the Folly Pond and a couple of Black-tailed Godwit. Little Egret are making more of an appearance down at the Flood Ground. With the recent storms we are seeing more cormorant fishing in the Whooper Pond.
