Mrs Maker's Mucky Ducks
Enjoy a fun creative experience for little ones, as part of Experience Ards and North Down 2024.
Let their imaginations run free in mucky ducky land! Using the beautiful setting and wildlife at WWT Castle Espie as their inspiration, children will create a fabulous rubber ducky keepsake under the guidance of local artist Kerrie, aka Mrs Maker.
They will get to customise their own little rubber ducky after thrashing out some ideas with Mrs Maker. Children will then be encouraged to go wild with paint pens, sticky gem embellishments, showers of glitter and so much more!
As the ducks dry, the children will then build up their ducky’s personalised packaging, ready for their ducky to be boxed up for adventures around WWT Castle Espie afterwards, should you wish to explore the reserve.

- The experience is aimed at primary school aged children
- One ticket purchased will admit 1 Adult and 1 Child entry to the grounds of WWT Castle Espie to explore at your leisure after the experience.
