Great egret & cattle egrets around
Lots of sighting of the great egret this week and some were cattle egret seen at the Scrape hide as well.

Ducks are pairing up with more teal around over the past week. Works continue at the Sand martin hide, re-building the nesting islands in front of the hide.

Arun Riverlife: 1 kingfisher, 1 great white egret
Ramsar/Sand Martin hide: a pair of shelducks, 1 moorehen, 6 male and 3 female teal, 6 male and 4 female mallards, 1 little egret
Scrape hide: 4 cattle egret

Scrape hide: 1 water rail in old Trumpeter Swan pen near entrance, 8 male and 4 female shoveler, 1 grey heron who then flew to Arun Riverlife, 1 snipe, 1 mandarin duck
Wood loop: 13 blue tits, 3 chaffinches, 3 great tits, 1 water rail, and 2 pheasants
Arun Riverlife: 3 pairs of pochard.
Wet grassland: 2 Canada geese, 13 mallards, 1 great egret who then flew to Arun Riverlife, 1 moorhen
Wetland Discovery: 2 cormorants
Ramsar hide: a pair pf shelducks
Reedbed: 1 marsh harrier 8.36 am flying from reedbed

Wetland Discovery: 4 coots, 2 blackbirds, 1 pheasant, 1 cormorants, 4 mallards, 1 moorhen, 1 green woodpecker.
Sand martin hide: a pair of shelducks
Sussex screen: 2 male and 1 female teal
Lapwing hide: 2 male and one female teal
Scrape hide: 10 male and 2 female shovelers, a pair of shelducks, a pair of tufted ducks
Arun Riverlife: 1 great white egret, 1 little grebe

Ramsar hide: 2 teal, 2 shelducks
Lapwing hide: a pair of shoveler
Sand martin hide: 4 shelducks, 1 water rail
Scrape hide: 6 Canada geese, a pair of shoveler, 7 greylag geese, 5 shelducks, 1 grey heron, a pair of gadwall, and 1 kingfisher
Wood loop: 9 blue tits, 1 great tits, 1 water rail, 3 pheasants, 2 tree sparrows, 2 long tailed tits
Arun Riverlife lagoon: 42 Canada geese, 4 shelducks, a pair of tufted ducks, 1 little grebe

Reedbed: 2 pairs of mallards, 3 blue tits, 1 green woodpecker, and 1 great tit
Reedbed hide: 1 redwing
Arun riverlife: 3 little grebes
Tundra pen on Tranquil Trail: 2 lapwings
Sand martin hide: 13 teal (5 males and 1 female plus 7 which flew off), 2 male and 1 female shoveler, 1 great tit in nesting hole in hide
Scrape hide: 3 male and 2 female wigeon, 5 male and 3 female teal, 2 male and 1 female shoveler, a pair of shelduck.
